Sooner though being before his deal run out though. He won't negotiate it while the season is still being played so the soonest we'll know anything will be next year sometime. The good news is that he's saying he likes it here and the direction things are taking.Quote:

With Marshall here now, Forte signed for the long haul and some young guys like Jeffery and a couple of the lineman looking good he knows we're close and that this is where his rep will be made. If we don't get a better O line next year that might be just what happen and I am not talking about Jay retiring in a few years. We have to build a solid wall for Cutler to play behind.
