Cutler on contract: I want to end my career as a Bear
Cutler said today on Mike & Mike, regarding a new contract: I want to end my career as a Bear.
I'm terrible. The 1st thought that immediately popped into my head was "with this oline, this could happen sooner rather than later."

Sooner though being before his deal run out though. He won't negotiate it while the season is still being played so the soonest we'll know anything will be next year sometime. The good news is that he's saying he likes it here and the direction things are taking.
With Marshall here now, Forte signed for the long haul and some young guys like Jeffery and a couple of the lineman looking good he knows we're close and that this is where his rep will be made. This is the closest I've ever seen to the Bears being a "complete team" since the '80s and with Emery running the front office I think we're good for now.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

If we don't get a better O line next year that might be just what happen and I am not talking about Jay retiring in a few years. We have to build a solid wall for Cutler to play behind.

Jay Cutler has some seriously dark rings beneath his eyes. Could it be that he's already dead?

Having a new baby at home can do that to 'ya. I sure remember those days. I felt like a zombie. One day at the office, I was so bone-weary tired, I fell asleep in my office chair. Sitting up. Out cold. The others in the office were so good. They just went on working all day and let me sleep there like a statue.
Hopefully Jay isn't that wiped out

Made me want to say that the Texans would be beating a gead horse this weekend, but I guess it would be a dead QB?
He can be dead. just as long as he gets back up when they hit him. Seriously, I hope we can protect him. I don't want to see him take a real lot of punishment this Sunday.

You know, I wonder if we'll play a game offensively like we did the first time we played the Vikings last year in Chicago, when we only allowed one sack, which was Cutler's fault because he didn't throw the football away? That was Jared Allen, too, and he was getting multiple sack performances against teams last year. Webb blocked him well, with a little help, of course.

Man, you read my mind. I was just thinking about Webb's performance in that game. He played a really solid game. We need our tackles to both be that solid Sunday.
