But, while talking to a Houston area doctor they asked him curiously about Cutler and how difficult it is to play with Diabetes.

A "nice Jay" commentary for a change. It has to be a real struggle for him sometimes as far as managing all that goes with that illness. Keeping his blood sugar balanced and his stamina up has to be a real challenge for him at times to say nothing of the periodic mood swings.
Those of us with kids know what they can be like when their blood sugar is low and a case of the "crabbys" sets in and I have my own daily battles with a biochemical mood disorder. Some days nay, even some hours within the day, it ain't a whole lot of fun being me or even being around me.
Some of what we see as Jay's "moodiness" has a biological cause. It's not just him trying to be an asshole as many assume. It's tougher to control than you think even when you're aware that it's happening. I've never yet ever heard him use that as an excuse and I don't any of us ever will but it's in the mix and we should be aware of that.
Now if somebody will just kidnap, Watts, Foster and Schaub between now and Sunday night life will be less difficult to deal with for Lovie and Co. How about if Peanut plays and we send them to the hospital to keep Mrs Peanut company?Quote:

True, but as much as it pains me to say this, Rogers is MUCH better about playing within himself and taking what the D gives him than Cutler is.
Sucks, but true. And that is a major component of what it is going to take to beat them.

Rodgers plays more like Joe Montana while Cutler is more like Brett Favre. Buffalo does have a decent defense so that's really a good sign for us that they were able to handle their offense fairly well and of course Rodgers is Rodgers and they're pretty good at beating teams who over commit on pass rushes. He does it to us all the time.
We can win this game but it's as much on Tice and Cutler's shoulders as anything else. If the offense plays like it did in the Packer game or like we did for most of the Carolina game we'll get beat. :drinking61:
I agree with you about Rodgers but I'll also give him that he's been playing that same offense for 4 1/2 years now with the same offensive minded HC in a system built to take advantage of what he and his receivers do best. So far that's an edge Cutler hasn't had.Quote:
