I think we'd be better off letting Jeremy Bates do the play calling now.

You guys are not playing a bad game. Both defenses are bringing it BIG TIME.

No matter what you guys are a tough team to beat. Other than GB we have run over teams easily, but this Bears sqad just does not quit!

that missed FG was huge. How we gonna get in the end zone??!

we've had alot of bad luck tonight --- Marshall not coming down with that one in the end zone, Jennings running into Briggs on what would've been return td #8 & Cutler getting knocked out in the game where he had his best protection all year. This just sucks.

Shit happens, it's how you deal with it that matters.

Yeah I love Hester but he's too damn small to play as a wideout. Maybe if Jeffries isn't ready try Weems.

The offense is playing bad and that is getting frustrating watching it. The defense on the other hand is playing great and they limited the texans offense. Andre Johnson was shut down and we seemed to figure out Foster in the second half. Our play calling on offense seems to involve throwing the ball to Marshall too much while the rest of the team seems to not show up at times. It has been frustrating seeing hester on offense especially in long passes where the slightest contact he does his flop hoping for pass interference. I don't know why we are not getting Matt Forte involved in more passing plays like we have in the past. I think we should run Michael Bush more than 3 plays because he is a brusing back that can carry a load when he was with the raiders. Our offensive line played pretty good not giving up a sack yet we just seem to play way too many save short passes or run up the middle too much. I give a lot of credit to the Texans defense, especially Manning he was huge in the game. The hit on Davis was big and the int in the redzone was huge also. When we lost Jay, the texans stacked the box because Tice dumbed down the play book and decided to run forte too much. The Texans made adjustments and stopped the running game.

This may be sacrilegious to some here but.....I see Hester's usefulness pretty much gone and his future with the team needing a frank reevaluation.

On returns, his bread and butter, he looks tentative and nothing like the explosive guy of past years. He's chiefly living off his past rep right now and opposing teams are soon going to stop being scared of him and giving up valuable field position like they've been doing.

As a receiver, he's even more a non-factor. The typical DH pass play finds him out-positioned, out-muscled, and out-fought for the ball. Inevitably he falls down well before making a solid effort on the ball and them leaps up demanding a (non-existent) penalty. Frankly, he SUCKS at pretty much everything except being a decoy. Last night he couldn't manage to get 1 yard after the catch in the flat to pick up a key 3rd down. He's terrible on O.

Hate to say it but this offseason may be time to make a tough but unemotional decision....looks like we are pretty near wasting a roster spot now.
