    Heard a couple of days ago on the Score, one of the guests Jim Miller? not sure, but Rodriquez isn't even in the TE room. Now as an "H-back" that is surprising, since he is supposed to be in a dual-role. Right now he is utilized purely as a blocking Full Back. He doesn't even sniff the ball.

    I don't understand what's Tice's plan for him is at this point, but it doesn't involve him becoming any kind of playmaker.

    The bar for Bears TEs this year hasn't exactly been set too high. Is it too much to ask your TE to block decently and give your offense 3-4 reliable receptions a game?

    it would sure be nice if ANY Bear not named "Marshall" would contribute to the pass offense.

    Your right Rodriguez works out with the RB and not the TE up to this point anyways.

    He's really pretty small for a TE anyway. He's considerably shorter than B.Marshall, and about the same weight.

    I posted this in another thread, but maybe it belongs in this thread too:



    None of the TE's on our roster look very good.

    Scouts Inc has Elderidge graded as "a below average backup"

    They have Kyle Adams as graded 20 points lower than Elderidge.

    Spaeth and K.Davis are obviously not cutting it for us.

    Rodriquez is not listed as a TE on our roster anymore, but rather a FB. At his small size, he's definitely not a TE anyway. It would be huge to have a solid TE on the roster for us to use as a target for Cutler. Especially in the red zone.
