Theres a few "good" ones out there like Houston, San Fran, and Seattle. Houston is respectable, Houston is good, Houston is not "almost as good." No one is doing the things the Bears are doing, scoring points and creating turnovers like us. Its absolutely amazing. They are in a league of their own.

They have covered up so much for the offense this year its staggering. Our QB has like a 16 rating in the first 3 quarters and then makes up for it by blowing out dejected defenses in the 4th. I mean we are absolutely terrible on offense, that was the difference. Houston's offense didn't make as many mistakes.

Your defense hasn't had nearly as many mistakes to cover up this year. Go watch our games if you don't believe me.
    lol @ not even close.

I'll take the advice of your man JABF99 and check you guys mid-week. I was pretty upset after that GB loss but I gave mad props to Aaron Rodgers who is the best QB in the league.

But if your opinion is that our D isn't even close and not in the same league and just horrible compared to yours then you're really letting yesterday's loss get too emotional and cloud your judgement.

If you want to say your D is a little better than ours because you create more points off turnovers or for whatever reason then I'll listen, but this whole notion that our D is the Saints D compared to the might of the better than 85 bears D then it's just a bad take.

I'm beginning to think you can't read.

No mention of the Saints, no mention of anyone being horrible, I think the same thing I thought last week. No one is doing what the Bears D is doing this season. Let me draw a diagram for you:

Yea, we had good field position all day. I'm so tired of making excuses for the Bears offense, they suck, plain and simple. Might as well punt on first down. Brandon Marshall is a fucking HERO, but he can't do it alone.

Run the offense through Forte and hit Marshall when he is open, how hard is this?
They tried to run the offense through Forte 16 carries 39 yards!!!! Forte just isnt that good. We would be a better offense with Bush running between the tackles getting the tough yards and let Forte basically be the 3rd down back. This is offense is in 2nd and 9's way to often

16 carries isnt shit, need more like 30 against a team like the texans.

you keep saying "not close" and "not nearly as good" and implying that there is some huge gap, when there is a legitimate argument that our defense is actually better.

That is my point. Thanks for saying our D is "good" but you're acting like your D is better than any D that has ever played. We created more turnovers yesterday, we had more yards and we had more points, we played tougher D and we got the job done, you can say your D is the best in the history of the game and that the only reason you lost was because your offense choked against a decent team.

Look at our stats for year and look at yours, this whole notion that our D is "good" but that you are elite and miles above it is just laughable.

Both teams are elite, both defenses are elite, both teams have things they need to fix. The better team won yesterday, can we not just agree on that?

Maybe with Bush but not Forte, Forte is the biggest reason that the Bears are 32nd in the NFL on 1st down. Forte had 16 carries for 39 yards and Bush had 3 carries for 34 yards. bush is a better back in those weather conditions.

Enough Midway. The Texans defense is just about as good as ours. Last night they played better than us. Bottom line.

The biggest difference last night was RB's. Forte is highly overated and Foster shows why he is elite

    TACKLES SACKS INTERCEPTIONS FUMBLES
TEAM SOLO AST TOT SACK YDSL TLOSS PD INT YDS LONG TD FF REC TD BK
    Bears 406 133 539 26.0 182 34 56 19 373 74 7 17 11 0 1

    Texans 407 113 520 25.0 142 25 56 11 305 86 3 10 7 0 1

    We have:
    1 more sack
40 more yards lost on sacks
    9 more tackles for loss
    8 more interceptions
    4 more Touchdowns
    7 More forced Fumbles
    4 more fumbles recovered

    - 7 forced fumbles 8 Ints, and 4 more touchdowns? That is a staggering gap in production considering most teams are lucky to have 7ff, 8ints, and 4 defensive scores all season. So through the same amount of games the Bears D has out produced the Texans by about a whole seasons worth of stats.

Yardage doesnt matter ever. Points allowed are marginally better for Texans. Its your offense thats better, defense can't compare.

P.S. Alright Benj i'm done, Ill let him get the last word on this one.
