Totally agree InChi, not the same at all.
Secondly, Longhorns I said you wouldnt be on these forums if you had lost last night. You then said you would be here congratulating us, to which I responded " lets see your posts on green bay's forums then." and you still havent answered that question.
3rd, it doesnt matter who got hurt, we are paying a backup big money to get the job done. We should have a chance to win with our backups. I blame Tice for not copying the Texans game plan.
Its like every time a player remotely screws up they are totally written off, which is stupid. We'v got to stick with people better than that.

This was considered a huge game IMO and I wanted to be a part of it win or lose.
Uh huh.
My statement stands, you wouldn't be here if you'd lost last night.
You stay classy Texan Pride.

Your comment on Green Bay was directed at me which I answered.
This whole thing has gotten out of hand and ridiculous so I will politely pull myself away from any further discussion. Best of luck to y'all the rest if the season.

No Pass Rush
I would argue that the field conditions greatly restricted the ability of the D-lines to rush the passer. The footing was terrible especially in the middle of the field. The D-lines for both teams had a hard time planting and firing off the ball. This made it easier for larger O-lineman to hold up. I think if they were playing on a good surface the Texans would have got much better pressure. If you noticed Phillips saw this coming and completely changed the game plan, he didn't blitz very much at all and by the 4th quarter he was dropping 8 guys in coverage. That is the complete opposite of what they did all season. Like I said I wouldn't take very much at all from this game because the field was in such a bad conditions, Qb's couldn't throw (balls were sailing) Receivers could plant let alone catch the ball, and the D-line wasn't able to fire out.

I've learned that we didn't have any Texan fan trolls. Good peeps in general. Sure they are homers, just like us, but they are civil and pretty knowledgeable.

Just for the record, I avoid this place after a Bears loss. Too much whining. I'm a homer too, but no amount of excuses or observations will change the fact that we have lost.
In years past I would join opponent forums and would ALWAYS return win or lose. It's just good practice, and as a consequence I've got mods/admins on other fan sites across the league that I know (kinda) and can get along with fairly well. It's proved helpful when going to away games.
I usually wait a day or so, now, to come to this site after a loss, just to let the scabs heal a little.

I would tell you that the Bears D still got to your QB, and your OL IS MUCH BETTER then the Bears last ranked OL(for defending the pass rush)

One Sack
The Bears got one sack, hardly decisive, but that is just one stat to measure the rush there is also Hits and Hurries not sure how those stacked up. But your missing my point, you can't take pass rush performances from this game and use them as a basis for future production. The field really made it difficult and both team's d-linemen were at a disadvantage. You can no more take pass rush performance from this game than passing performance. Conditions really dictated this game.
