I agree, our guys have to catch the fricking ball and then not fumble it when they do. We will be alright.

So long as next game we score more points then the other team, we'll be fine...

One lesson I hope Jay learns is that running face first into an oncoming LB at full speed is just as unacceptable as taking a sack from the blindside...2nd game in a row Jay take an unnecessary and avoidable hit; and this time he wasn't so "tough" or luck...
Well to be fair, that was a cheap shot that hurt him... it's a penalty for a reason and I'm sure a fine is coming.

But to be equally fair, if Dibbins holds up and Jay is just pump faking, than Dibbins risks getting burned...in slow mo, the hit may look pretty bad, but in real time, it looked fine or at least understandable...a penalty for sure, but sometimes you're damned if you do, damned if you don't...especially went come to daring to hit a QB these days...

I'm not saying he can't hit Cutler, but he was head-hunting and it was intentional (based on his acting job after the fact). You don't launch into someones face and then hold your hands up like you tried to avoid it, after they're lying on the ground... it was intentional IMO and therefore somewhat dirty.

Edit: Just watched it again, clearly dirty. He had two steps from when Cutler threw the ball until he hit him. He also led with his helmet to Cutler's face... He intentionally tried to light up Cutler, he doesn't react to the pass until after laying the wood (he most definitely saw the ball passed before the hit).

I've said it all along AJ really helps our offense and his return should help us more than some would think

Unless the O improves we're still looking at 10-11 wins and a early playoff exit. If Tice keeps up his woes at playcalling and we see more turds from Davis we'll be lucky to have that. It's good (and bad) in a way that we have to hope AJ can cure many ills.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but I think we have at least two to four more losses coming our way. We might beat Seattle, Arizona, Detroit, and Minnesota at Soldier Field, but if you honestly think we're going to win this division with this putrid offense's play, you're going to be sorely disappointed. I don't know who the Packers play the rest of the way other than the Giants, but the Giants are struggling just to win games right now. Their offense is playing about as well as ours is, which is saying something. I can honestly see the Packers winning out the rest of their games, and they will certainly kill the Bears again.

Let's see how we do against the 49ers.
    Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

We lost to a good team, we didn't do the little things right that we were doing and that cost us the game. I don't think that last night showed anything really. Jason Campbell is a more than capable starter assuming that Jay will likely have to sit out a week, none of the 3 QB's were able to throw the ball too well last night. That being said, there are some things we can take away like don't get away from the run, Earl Bennett is a better WR than Hester. Next week will be a better answer of how good we are.
