That's Serratore's crew for you. He's a hard ass and he really dislikes calls being over turned or indecision on the part of anyone on his crew. If they'd have taken more time making the initial call and or shared some opinions maybe it might have gone the other way but I agree that the booth probably didn't have enough to look at in order to over turn it. On the contrary I think that if it had been ruled a completion (and IMHO it should have been) then the booth would have confirmed it.
Just for general info it was Serratore who swore over his mic at one of his crew in last weeks game when they questioned his spotting of the ball after a penalty. One of his crew was trying to tell him that he mis-spotted it. He cursed him, blew him off and refused to listen. Serratore does not like to have any call questioned. You could see him trying to talk Lovie out of it.
Hey, we caught a bad break two ways. It was a big play that could have led to a TD and we lost our QB as a result. Despite that this team needs to toughen up on offense and find ways to win just like the defense finds ways to bounce back and stiffen up after allowing a TD drive like they did on Sunday night.
Bears = a tougher than nails defense + a pussy offense = not the best team in the NFC.
