If you were one slick motherfucker ... you would simply put up a POLL as to how the fans on this board decided if it was
an illegal hit on JCUT or not.
Let the people vote.
Are you blind? Or can you just not read? How many times do I need to say that it was an illegal hit before you get it through your head? Everyone knows that a helmet to helmet hit is illegal. THAT IS WHY HE WAS FINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh ... why dont you put that gun down... now we know you dont want to harm anybody ... just hand it to me and this will all be over.
I don't know how many times I've said (to no one in the room) while watching a Bears game; "Dammit, Cutler... learn to slide!"
The guy, sometimes, goes too far to prove he's a competitor. Okay, maybe he's not trying to 'prove' it, but is actually a competitor.
Who doesn't know the QB slide.

As for the play, sucks that it was negated by an off-setting penalty. Sucks that officials aren't using the same technology in review that you and I get in our living rooms. Sucks that the human being isn't capable of pulling negative-g braking. Sucks that rules initially designed to eliminate spearing are being applied to open field tackling. Sucks that there are players in the NFL with college degrees, yet speak with the intellect of a 12-year old. Sucks that we have posters who troll with ridiculous assertations about what constitutes being a fan.
Actually, that last one is kind of appreciated. Now excuse me, I still have buckshot to remove.

DAMN ! Was it that #00 buckshot again ? I hate when that happens.
A good board is moving the conversation forward with lottsa laffs amongst fans.
Yes, we have all seen the hit..... but watching it in slow motion is interesting. In slow motion, the hit comes about two seconds after the throw was made. Which means in real time, it was less than a second.
Yep.... less than a second after the throw was made.
My only complaint was the helmet to helmet. There was no way he could have avoided hitting Jay
Bullsh$t. Dobbins certainly had the time to think about putting his hands up as if to say, "Gee. That was a mistake." He had the same amount of time to decide to either hit Jay or not and he chose to. You can even see that he dipped down to make the hit. I have to ask this. Are you seriously saying that if you only had a couple of seconds to make a move to save your own life you couldn't do it? I'm damn sure I could and in fact have in my life. ever fall forward and NOT put your hands out in front of you? That isn't instinct. It was you having time to process a situation and decide you'd rather scrape your hands than eat pavement. You could do that with one second, so dipping down to make an "accidental" helmet smack is no accident.
While it may have been within the rules,Suh's hit on Cutler looked like a judo throw.
So if "clean" means rule legal, yes.
But,I would submit, that it was a dirty hit all the same.

That is all that clean means. Within the rules. Dirty means against the rules, flag and fine worthy. For now, the Suh hit is legal. If the rules change, then it will be illegal. But at the time, it was sadly a clean legal hit.
