i dont disagree with any of that, we do need an OL, TE/FB to be a competent offense. I just dont get bent out of shape when other teams put up more points then us against common opponents.

Where would the Texans be if Shaub was clobbered and out of the game in the second half?
On 3rd of February 2013 the Bears will play against Houston one more time. And this time they're gonna win it. Mark my words.
The Bears did four things wrong in the first half that cost them the game: two fumbles and two interceptions. We could have gotten at least two or three more scores of some variety had we not done that. Meanwhile, I dare say that the Bears outplayed the Texans in the second half of the game. Our defense can favorably stack up against any team's studs anywhere.
As for the offense, well, it's like Ed O'Bradovich once said with regard to how the 1963 Bears offense, which only averaged scoring 21 points per game that year, feared their own defense more than it did any other team: "We used to say to the offense when going out on the field, 'Just hold 'em boys. Just hold 'em; we'll come back and get ya six!'"
