    Not really.

Traditionally-speaking, the Bears playing at Candlestick is like a one legged man in an ass-kicking contest.

Oh dont be bringing up that tired ass "lovies' attitude" argument again. We werent complaining about his "attitude" when the defense was limiting opponents to less then 10 points, and we were 7-1.

HIs attitude isnt the problem, its the lack of proper gameplanning. I bet SF was studying film on us for WEEKS to come up with a gameplan to beat our defense, and it shows. Whereas OUR gameplan was pretty much "err, lets run it for a bit and hope that Campbell doesnt have to throw."

Actually, scratch that...they even screwed THAT plan up. I remember one series, early in the 1st quarter when my blood hadnt begun to boil yet:

First and 10: Forte run, 4 yards.
Second and 6: Forte run, 4 yards.
Third and 2.....FUCKING BULLSHIT FAKE END-AROUND TO HESTER THAT FOOLED NO ONE. Loss of yards, and punt.

THIS is why we lost. I mean fuck...you just showed that you can run against one of the best D's in the league, you are faced with THIRD AND TWO, and instead of RUNNING the damn ball again...you pull out some BS trick play that has never worked, and are all surprised when they read it and tackle for a loss.

I believe in the "im gonna run this play until you can prove to me you can stop it" type of gameplan. But the Bears apparently believe in the "well if it works, lets change it up so we can find those plays that DONT work" gameplanning.
    I'm trying//to let go//of maybe//but maybe's just so//very interesting//Oh, what a thing.

Is it possible to bring back the 85 team back? Sure enough they're old but they can't perform any worse than this..

I knew it was going to be a long night on the first defensive series by the Bears and Conte gets a flag for falling on an untouched receiver who could have gotten up to run. After that I knew the refs weren't going to call obvious flags and that the defense was in for a long night. One other thing on the defense side of the ball, why is it that these 49er clowns bitch about normal tackles? Case in point, Tillman stopped Crabtree from a first down, it looked like a normal tackle to me, but the 49er sideline was overheard on the mics saying it was a personal foul...really? The theatrics by the 49ers was awesome too, every play seemed to turn into some ghetto-riffic stage show.

Jon Gruden: For the love of Pete! Please stop calling the 49er defense unstoppable due to the fact none of their defensive players swapped out. Guess what dumbass, they were only on the field for 10 MINUTES the ENTIRE game! He did have one good point about the offensive line, that is it will be the weakest point for the offense moving forward if they lack consistency.

Offense: Figure it the F*** out, NOW!

    Conte and Chucky

Both idiots. Conte should have gotten flagged. Probably the only tackle he made all night. I know Major Wright was useless. And Chucky had to mute that crap.

Playoffs? Ha. Now we are fighting for a Wildcard, and we damned sure aint winning no SB.

    Bright Spots:

    1) Another solid game by Robbie Gould. One point after and two kickoffs. Who-hoo!!

    2) No sacks on Cutler, no Cutler turnovers. That's progress.

    3) No major gaffes by our long-snapper.

    4) Only one intentional grounding penalty one our offensive lineman resulting in a safety.

    5) Did I mention Robbie Gould's extra point? It was perfect!

    6) We don't have to face that juggernaut Kappernick any more this season.

I thought that we might lose, but I didnt think it would be that bad.

I have a silver lining or two.
    1) There is no QB controversy in Chicago. Which may be a problem in SF.
    2) The Oline is still terrible, So this game was a reminder to work on it.
    3) The Defense looked terrible. Hopefully this will humble them a bit, so we dont have a repeat in the playoffs.

I agree with you Jimmors. When the Bears play a really good game I really don't care if Lovie is smiling or not on the sideline. But what I really don't like about him is his attitude when the team is losing. The Bears were being humiliated by a rookie QB on national tv and yet Lovie was standing there looking and acting like nothing happened.

Sorry, you can call me a nagger if you want but when your team is being owned by the opponent you expect the coach to do SOMETHING. Act like you care about the game, change your gameplan, get angry, DO ANYTHING.
