Here.
LINK to the article | 2012 Power Rankings: Week 12 |
| RANK | TEAM / RECORD | TRENDING | COMMENTS |
| 1 | Texans 9-1 | -- Last Week: 1 | No QB does play-action better than Matt Schaub, and the win over Jags had plenty of action. (Clayton) |
| 2 | Falcons 9-1 | -- Last Week: 2 | It's tough to argue with a 9-1 record unless you've watched the Falcons play lately. (Sando) |
| 3 | 49ers 7-2-1 | 1 Last Week: 4 | Playing in New Orleans is always tough, but the 49ers have the O-line, backs and scheme to run all over the Saints. (Sando) |
| 4 | Packers 7-3 | 2 Last Week: 6 | Five wins in a row have shot them back up toward the top. Big game versus Giants on Sunday. (Graziano) |
| 5 | Ravens 8-2 | -- Last Week: 5 | The Ravens have won 12 straight games in the division, tying the Colts (2004-06) for longest such streak since the 2002 realignment. (Hensley) |
| 6 | Bears 7-3 | 3 Last Week: 3 | Division lead gone, schedule remains tough. Jay Cutler or no, the Bears have to find a way to block somebody. (Graziano) |
| 7 | Broncos 7-3 | -- Last Week: 7 | The Broncos are going to run away with the AFC West. Up three games with six to play and a favorable schedule. Foot meet gas. (Fox) |
| 8 | Patriots 7-3 | -- Last Week: 8 | Injured Rob Gronkowski is the first tight end in NFL history to record double-digit TDs in three consecutive seasons. (Hensley) |
| 9 | Giants 6-4 | 1 Last Week: 10 | They're back from the bye with the Cowboys suddenly in the rearview mirror. Is Eli's arm up to the task? (Graziano) |
| 10 | Buccaneers 6-4 | 3 Last Week: 13 | Josh Freeman has 16 touchdown passes in his past six games after having 16 all last season. (Sando) |

They need to share them with the rest of the league.... or just with us Bear fans!

Most of the bones are there. We just need a paleontologist that knows how to put the bones together.

This team can still make it deep into the playoffs if it plays its best ball. We have a 2-3 record versus teams this season with a winning record. The two teams we beat with winning records were Indianapolis and Dallas. We could have won the Packers and Texans games had we had better playcalling. The only loss we had no business even being in the game is against the 49ers. We were simply ambushed and beaten every which way but up in the game. We were way outcoached on offense, defense, and special teams. The playcalling against the Texans was actually pretty good, and would have worked quite well if the plays that were called had been executed by our normally reliable Pro Bowl skill position players.

We are an offensive line away from being an elite team IMHO. Yes, there are a number of other things where we can improve. But even with this coaching staff, I think we could have made a serious Super Bowl run this season if we had a solid oline.

Yes, I believe so, but the really good teams can beat other equal teams with some creative game plans. While a good OL would have gotten us a good run, I really do believe that we have some deeper underlying problems. I say lets address what needs to be addressed and get the cart back on the road.
