Does anyone here believe Cutler will finish the season once he comes back?
The guy is taking a horrific beating every week. Beaten by 300 pound men, concussed..........the guy probably urinates blood after some of these beatings.
We ought to have a poll to see if anyone believes Cutler will make it through the rest of the 16 game schedule after he returns. I picture his brain tissue leaking out his ears. Campbell would probably urinate on himself if we even asked him to go out again with this oline in front of him.

he could very well be concussed on Sunday with Allen sitting on his head a few times

They ought to make Webb and Carimi take turns being our QB's - the "designated punching bags" and let Cutler play LT and watch the show as the DE's blow past to do lobotomies on the fat boys.

He might finish but he'll be battered, David Carrr'ed and worse for wear mechanically.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

With this oline, I don't see him lasting more than a few games. His body is absorbing a physical beating every week (not just sacks but hits).
Eventually one of those hits will "break" him beyond fixing this season.

With the line the way it is I would not be surprised if JC wanted to get out before he gets battered beyond his ability to either produce or even function. I think that there is a point where one says "ok I don't really have to take all this".

My respect for Jay Cutler has gone way up this season. Way up. Once he gets cleared from the concussion to play again, I believe he'll play his heart out for us.
He will get seriously injured and end the year on IR. He has NO chance of staying healthy behind this offensive line. None.

This is really a difficult question. It could go either way.
The line is not good. Will he take any more serious hits this season? I would have to say yes, almost without a doubt.
Will he get knocked out again as you ask? I would have said 30% before, but he has taken a lot of shots, people know he is easy to get to, and he simply can not take as hard a shot with continued concussions, so now I am at 50-60%.
But the guy is a tough QB. he will take hits, but I am going with my heart rather than my head and say that he may get knocked out for another game, but nothing season ending.

Houston, I have a lot of respect for Jay. I really do. He has an attitude, but you'd almost have to have that kind of QB to line up week-after-week behind this offensive line.
Seriously.
Can you imagine what it must be like pain-wise, each week after a game. And about the time he's feeling decent, it's time to go back in for the next game/beating.
