I'm still very optimistic about our chances in every game this season, and eould not be surprised in the least if a meeting of the minds produced a significantly more efficient offense. I'm not saying we could play like the patiots, but we should be able to keep up with many other offenses...
Henry, Tice should have a decent idea of how to call plays based on what he experienced as head coach up in Minnesota and on what he saw that didn't work during the Martz era. Instead, he's going against every fiber of what this offense can actually do and is causing the offense to play shitty football. We have the worst offense in the NFC, and only the Chiefs and the Jaguars are worse than us in the league. If at first you don't succeed, it is true that you try again, but after so many false starts and stops, when is it time to drop back, punt, and regroup with a whole new strategy and personnel? It doesn't take a rocket scientist in my mind to discern this miniscule yet important fact of the business.

Well, idk for sure, but i would imagine Scott Linehan was the one calling plays back then, not to mention they had an offensive line so good that the rb's were interchangeable but very productive. If we had THAT offense, with this defense, we could have a john shoop terry shea hybrid playcalling system and win 14 games...

We have the offensive line it takes to rush for 2,500 yards or better a season. We could be averaging 140-170 rushing yards per game if Tice would only commit to running the football more than he does.
