If that happens we not only get to the playoffs with 11 wins, but it will make Lovie look good having pulled a team decimated with injuries, into the playoffs.

I'm not saying this will happen, I'm saying a Green Bay win like this may save Lovie's job without a playoff win.
I'll go along with you and I'll even change "may" to "will". I obviously have my issues with Lovie, but even I could not justify cutting him loose with an 11-5 record. I still would not extend him though.

I'm pretty flexible on a lot of stuff, but on this no one can tell me that Lovie did not have a bif part in the players. Maybe if Angelo called me and told me that Lovie never said anything even after going out to evaluate players, but I just don't see it being in the realm of reasonable logic. However, sometimes neither are the Bears.

In the end. It doesn't matter. The team is not doing well. It needs to get fixed. What happened with Angelo happened with Angelo. Other than Emery getting us some top notch WR talent, I see no change. We are still mediocre. However, this time we are mediocre with much better WR's and the best RB tandem in the league.

Sorry, the team is moribound. Something needs to change. The GM already did and he seemed to make a big difference. The end result however is about the same. Something else needs to change, and I'd Lovie to see what it might be.

I take this season as Lovies' win or walk year.
As I understand what was said at the beginning of the year, that was the case.
In my opinion, only a deep playoff run can save Lovies' job.
Not that I would be happy about it,I want him gone.
His tenure in Chicago has been a rollercoaster of high expectations and poor performance.
Thus far,the bears seem to have a solid GM.(big upgrade)
    Why stop there?
The odds of the aforementioned playoff run,are slim indeed.
Personally,I think Lovie has been given enough rope to hang himself, and swing he will.
Given Lovies' body of work, how could any self respecting GM do less than a total house cleaning?
I hope Virginia can hear the growing clamor from her penthouse.
It's time to pull the plug on Lovie and his clown circus,it's all show and no go.

Emery was forced to keep him for 2012, after that he could do as he pleased. At least that was what he was told. If there is a total tank job, I can not see Lovie coming back. If there is a playoff appearance, followed by a one and done.... he could still be fired, unless Virginia steps in. She loves Lovie. As do the rest of the family.
