    'Fatherly' Cutler ties Webb's shoe

I thought that was pretty cool.

    Chicago Bears
quarterback Jay Cutler said his fatherly instincts kicked in Sunday when he had another incident with offensive tackle J'Marcus Webb, but this episode did not include scolding or tough love.

Cutler, who made headlines earlier this season when he shoved Webb on the sidelines, bent down and tied Webb's shoe during the fourth quarter of the Bears' 28-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

"I loosened it and tied it," said Cutler, who has an infant son. "I guess my fatherly instincts are kicking in a little bit.

"I was trying to keep the drive going so we didn't have to burn a timeout, but we burned one anyway apparently."

The gesture was not lost on Cutler's teammates.

"(That will) probably be on SportsCenter," Brandon Marshall said. "I don't know if it was Cutler-like, but it was cool and we were all cheering in the huddle."

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.
