haha, well, I wouldn't expect to see Gurode on the team next season, unless something crazy happens like he's been staying in playing shape this late in the season and comes in and shows all our scrubs up in a BIG way... tall order. He's gotta be just an "oh shit" guy in case we lose yet another guard or we'd have signed him ages ago.

as far as Aaron Curry goes? He's one of the biggest draft busts in recent memory... he is the epitome of "turning it off after getting his payday"... unless he's been severely undercoached... which I doubt anyone in the pro level can be THAT undercoached...

That was my first thought too. We're "dumpster diving" at this point. Signing anyone with a pulse. As others have noted, there is a reason these guys were home sitting in front of the TV on the couch.

I wish there was some way we could undo the Rachal move. I don't care how crazy he is. He can play at a decent level. And we let C.Will walk for no compensation. C.Will was at least an average guard. A crap tackle, but a decent guard.

I guarantee you that Rachal and C.Will (as mediocre as they are) are 10 times the players these guys are. And these guys are 100% clueless about our offense. No training camp. Zero snaps.

It's a sad joke. Makes ya wanna cry (or kill a certain Viking DE).

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

Completely different situation. One was expected to be a starter at OT while the other is an interior backup and most likely our ninth OL.

It's definitely a move we had to make, but it sucks. It means we have a tired old has-been guy, instead of developing a young prospect who may be a valuable investment. The old guy will be back on the couch watching TV with his bag of chips at the end of the year.
