That may be true, but I think Carimi is nothing more than the proverbial Dutch boy plugging in a leak in the dykes with his right index finger at right guard. Our ultimate goal for him is for him to work his way into become the best right tackle he can possibly be, if not eventually become a solid left tackle if all else fails and we don't get one of the three big names on the market to play the position (Long, Clady, Bushrod).

I don't follow Miami at all, but I thought I read where Long was really struggling this season. Not doing so hot. I'd hate to overpay for another deadbeat. Now maybe I got this all wrong. Like I said, I don't follow Miami.

I think you may be right.

Us fans always want instant gratification. But most times a player (especially an oline tackle) needs more than 1 season to even begin to sniff their potential. I've always heard that it takes 3 years for an OL guy to develop. I'm still hoping Carimi can be a solid RT for us.

That is true I will acknowledge that he isn't the greatest but I do think he can become a serviceable LT if needed. He sure can't be worse then Ja'Marcus Webb.
