    What did we learn today?

    Simple what we learned today?

Here's what some things I noticed
    1. Tice called another crappy game.
    2. How the hell did we allow them to march down 97 Yards to score?
    3. Russell Wilson has potential to be a good QB.
    4. The replacement O-Line didn't do that awful.
    5. We missed Earl Bennett.

I wish Lovie Smith showed as much emotion as Pete Carroll does.

    Our Defense is getting old.
Jerry Angelo drove us into the ground.
Getting Brandon Marshall was a great trade.

How did we consistently lose contain? The last two drives, last in regulation and the overtime drive, were all Wilson scrambling outside the pocket.

Even with the addition of Marshall, offense can't seem to stay on the field, which causes the D to get gassed and burned late in the game.

    Different year, same problems.

    What we learned

Close game against another boarderline playoff team. Sea seems to have the Bears number, they've beaten them 3 straight times. Some will blame the D for just giving up, I think that is far to easy though, the Bears O couldn't keep the ball moving, or score 20, in todays NFL that is not good enough.

Chicago O: Again the O looks way to much to Marshal for it's production, the last few years the Bears O rolled through Forte for 30-40% of it's production, this year it's Marshal. There should have been more balance w/no one player being that much of the O. They need to find better production from the RB's, and the other wr's(give up on the TE's until you get some that can catch). Bennett had a bad game today, Dane, did he even get a look? Why not use Weems more after that great catch? Forte's TD is something they need to do more w/him, get him 6-10 yards down field before they get him the ball, he'll catch it; it's something that should have stayed from last years O and for some reason they didn't. Keep throwing the ball to marshal, take those extra passes away from the TE's and give them to Forte. I think you'd see a much smoother running O.

Chicago D: tired, old, beat up and gassed in the 4th/OT. R Wilson had them running all day and 2nd guessing themselves. Normally this is a guy that the Bears do good against, they have always shut down running qb's by containing them in the pocket, but they just didn't do it today. They also didn't get the to's they need to get them off the field, and we all know what happens when they do that.

Chicago coaches: wth was the plan to shut down Wilson? Why couldn't you cover those no name WR's, but can shut down groups like Det/Hou? What you doing on O? I know your down WR's, but you have to be willing to use the backups, or why are they on the team at all? If the TO's aren't coming, what is the backup plan Lovie? Just let the other team score?

Sea O: Well it looks like they have a qb, rb, and wr/te group, that's a sold O that just kept fighting and kept gassing the D. The only time our D seeme fresh was in the 1st qtr, and right after that 2nd TD drive where the chicago O kept them off the field.

Sea D: I wasn't impressed, but somehow they kept the Cutler/Marshal chicago O out of the endzone and out of fg position enough to steal this game. There wasn't a ton of pressure on Cutler, but there were times he definately felt it.

Sea Coaches: hmmmm I really hate this guy, and the fact that he seem to have Chicago's number is really starting to piss me off. But he's a hell of a coach, and for once his paid players are allowed and he's showing he knows how to use his talent, even if it's not elite.
