The true big thing that sucks for Emery is the fact that we kept Lovie Smith and his cronie coaching staff. Second Virginia needs to go and we need a different owner. I like the Bush signing but not doing anything with the OL sucks. Personally, Lovie needs to go and we need another HC for a change.

I wonder sometimes if there's a culture at Halas Hall that's somehow just a little too comfortable with losing - like Lovie is the dad that always pats his kids on the back and says " that's ok son you gave it your best shot ". That's ok in little league for sure. I'm also sure that they'd look at the first comment here and say ' that's BS we're trying as hard as we can' . Prolly true also .

Look this D is old , Lach might be gone for good , and we got to 1 SB WITH him and when they were all younger .

Just seems like there's something missing in Lovie teams .... seems like we're headed for a partial re-build with this team no matter what . The question is , do we want to do it w Lovie at the helm or would it be better to do it w someone else ( and while Cutty is still just barely young enough ) ?

Part of me thinks give him one last chance to re-build and part of me thinks things need to be shaken up . I'm leaning towards the latter . But only if they bring in somebody with a solid track record .
