Jay Cutler just earned more of my respect. Thinking about the team and not only himself.. Fuck yes. Let's just hope we can land Bush, Clady, or Long in FA and build a soild Oline.

It is going to be a very interesting off season. However, the new acquisitions need to start having an impact. You bring in a guy like Marshall and it makes no difference even when the QB has time?
Emery needs to make some decisions.

Wow, it's not often guys will say this in public, but sometimes when they do, they don't really mean it. In Jay's case, I actually believe it. Perhaps it's just because I want to, nbut honestly, I think this guy is so competitive and he already has FU money that he just want to win. He is also smart enough to know that Superbowl's make millionaires many times over and for entire lifetimes in endorsements and such. There is far more money to be had over a longer period of time for a QB that takes a little less salary, but wins championships.
How many Superbowl's would Manning have if he had given his team a little more cap space to build a better Defense? I'll wager he would have more than his little brother at this point.

I didn't listen to the whole show last night but what I heard him say is that if he won the Powerball last week he would play for league-minimum so that the Bears could spend them money on other players. Since he had the millions from the lottery he wouldn't need the millions from the Bears. I didn't hear him say anything about taking a 'home town discount' but maybe he did say that later in the show? Just sayin'.

Elway gave the Broncos 2 SB after taking a pay cut, and moving some of his money the Broncos were to pay him to a deal where he got the money after he was done with football.
