    yeah i have accepted that outcome and as a fan Im just happy I have seen probably just about every game Urlacher has played and really appreciate what he has done and meant to the team. I guess what I meant was not replacing him with the thought he will be a future HOF but someone who can function as a MLB in the lovie system and I dont see that with shea. All I see in him is a mark anderson nothing more and if we want to see greatness out of him it will have to be in a 3-4 which I dont see happening here anytime soon. But I have been wrong before I never thought those cheap asses would fire JA lol.

    Im not really into all the draft stuff yet and FA to see what will be available to help us move on from Urlacher if that is the direction we are going in

    Some like to compare Shea to a young 'Lach because of the physicals. Similar height, weight, wingspan, speed (40 yard), high motor. Whether this comparison is valid won't be known unless the Bears try to turn Shea into a MLB.

    To do it in the middle of a season is a bad idea, unless the season is lost. During the off season? That is a different question, and a different debate.
