What would you consider a "home town discount" for Cutler?

In an earlier thread, we have been talking about Cutler giving the Bears a "Home town discount".

So let me ask you, how much would you pay Cutler (pre-"home town discount") and what would you consider to be a "home town discount"?

If your just talking percentage I would say 10% is a great deal of money. But there are a ton of ways to do the deal and keep the Cap low.

Or " Every penny I save you, goes to protection." Or " I'll play for 5 million a year, but you pay half a million BONUS per sack."
The passion of a few, to rule the many, that's Washington D.C.. Where else was that said before, about whom?

I like that. I'll bet Cutler would have the best oline in the NFL if you tied sacks to money

I'm not sure Cutler has that many other options that would pay him big money. The Jets could dish out a lot of money, but that team is a disaster right now. I think Cutler is comfortable living in Chicago and being close to his relatives in Santa Claus. Cleveland has a rich owner, but the city isn't as nice as Chicago.
