If were talking the whole "Lovie and emotion" thing we can stop right there. First of all I agree in part you don't have to get mad to motivate. However ONCE in awhile you have to throw a thunderbolt here and there. Perhaps none other than the fact that you have to exercise that muscle. If you overdo it yes then it falls upon deaf ears.
This season should have been a thunderstorm of them.
Oh, as I mentioned in the other thread, I have no problem with pointing out their mistakes, but you can do so without raising your voice and screaming your head off because they got a bad grade.Quote:

There are many ways to motivate. They all work. Some work on some people better than others. A good manager recognizes what methods to use at the right time with the right people. I don't think there is a right way and a wrong way. There is a best way in a certain situation. Regardless of what way Lovie should be using, I think we can all agree it's not working. I don't see the passion for winning. I am not talking about Lovies passion (or lack thereof) on the sideline. I mean the passion on the field -- it seems that they are going through the motions sometimes. I am not sure they are getting as fired up as they need to. I'm not in the locker room. I'm not sure if Lovie is falling asleep during his pre-game speeches or what the problem is, but I see a problem.
This reminds me of the "Is Jay Cutler a good leader?" thread... Do we REALLY NEED to rehash this? I'm not.
