Someone who players want to play for, and has the respect of his players and his fellow coaches.
Someone who is not afraid to take control of the offense or the defense at a given moment in a given game if an in place game plan is not working.
What I do not need...
A motivator. These guys are professional players and should not need to be motivated to play well. It is your job, you should already be motivated to do so.
A fire and passion guy who yells and screams on the side lines, grabs his players by the face masks ect. Maybe its just me, but I find it hard to respect someone who is yelling at me while I am working.
