qb tryouts?
By The Sports Xchange | The SportsXchange – 3 hours ago
The Chicago Bears are apparently concerned enough about the health of quarterback Jay Cutler that they brought in two quarterbacks for tryouts. Josh Johnson and Stephen McGee worked out for the Bears on Tuesday, the Chicago Tribune reported. Cutler suffered a neck injury in the Bears' loss to Minnesota on Sunday. The injury didn't appear serious, but Cutler also missed time this year with a concussion. Johnson was among San Francisco's final cuts at the end of the preseason. McGee was waived by Dallas before the start of the season. The Bears also made a roster move Wednesday, re-signing defensive tackle Amobi Okoye after waiving him two weeks ago. Okoye joined the Bears for the 2011 season but was let go and signed with Tampa Bay during the offseason before coming back to the Bears earlier this season.

With all the focus on player safety, you'd think the league would require teams to have an offensive line instead of just putting jerseys & helmets on rolls of cottonelle.

LOL. Are you insinuating that Mike Tice's pixie dust didn't work? Just wait until he unleashes the mighty "Hester Package" and we ride that puppy all the way to the Super Bowl.
Regarding the oline, you'll notice in the photo below that Webb (the LT there) is even handicap accessible. Nobody in the NFL has anything like we have!!!

Makes perfect sense. Tice usually comes up with these innovations. Maybe this is Tice's "Quarterback Package" that will come soon.

Josh Johnson is currently playing for the Sacramento Mountain Lions in the UFL. He was drafted by the Bucs in 2008 as a backup for Byron Leftwich.
Stephen McGee (6'3'' 218 lbs.) was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 2009 and spent most of his time as third-string and backup QB behind Romo and Jon Kitna.
TD-INT: 3-0
Passing yds: 428
QB RAT: 82.4
