There are 2 ways to get to the playoffs, Div Champ(100% of playoffs ie 100% chance to keep job) or WC(2 in 5 shot to make the playoffs ie 2 in 5 shot of keeping job). Chances of winning Div w/out beating GB(1 in 5 shot, ie 1 in 5 shot of keeping your job).
Bingo. That is why he should be fired. Not his record against the packers, which was stellar before Cutler got here ;)

Best way, yes, but I gave you two examples where it was not necessary.

but the likely hood of those examples happening are minescule. It's like saying I'm saving for retirement by playing the lottery and suplementing the low chances of that w/scratch offs. Ya if it happens you did yourself right, but likely you are going to work until you die or die broke.
In that scenerio Lovie is about to die broke.

Yikes.... Now you tell me that's a bad idea.

True, it is easier to win your divisional games. And it helps when you have a QB that doesn't shit the bed against your biggest rival too right?
Again, not putting all the blame on Cutler.... but hard to argue to absolutely sucks against green bay

I agree Benj, unfortunately people are in denial about Cutlers play in big games against GB. He's not looked good regardless of the OL or weapons he's had.
But the on the totem poles of problems it goes something like this:
Coaching
OL
WR/TE talent/depth
Cutler/QB depth
Aging Def/def depth
RB/RB depth

Not really sure why you keep banging on Cutler. There are 10 other guys guys out there with him when he plays GB. It's not like 11 guys play all the teams except GB and only Cutler plays GB. I agree he has not been playing well. I'll even say it may end up that we can't win with him, but as of right now, I'd say he is one of our strengths comparatively speaking. I think we have to fix the really deep potholes before we can look at the ones that MIGHT be a problem. Just one man's opinion, but I think right now we have bigger fish to fry than to debate whether Cutler is losing us games.
Let's get a game plan and some protection around him. Maybe get players to the point where they are not dropping important balls. Then I think we see where we are at. At that point, how is Cutlers game? Is he throwing more interceptions than TD's? Is he making decisions that are costing us the game?
Right now we have a dam that is leaking water and we are talking about whether the blinking red light on top of it is big enough. Let's stop the leak and then we can look at the light...

Not really banging on Cutler... but yes. He is throwing more INTs than TDs against GB, his decisions are costing us games (see the horrible throw to Hester that was right to the defender).

Well, ok Benji. You can worry about Cutler for me. Ill just keep worrying about the coaches and OL for now.
Division of duties
BTW - not sure if true or not, but the analysts I've read said that Hester was right on that play so it looks like it was Cutlers fault if they are to be believed. But I'm still not worried about Cutler at this point. Catch me later on this one.

BiH, no reason you cannot worry about/work on all of them simultaneously.

I've got a tiny brain. Plus, what's Benji gonna do then?
