I mean imagine if we took a olinemen for one of every 2 DBS we took in the first 5 rounds in the last 7 years.

But getting back to Tice, I think sadly its time for him to go, this musical chairs shit is utterly senseless, any coach at any level would know that OL is not just one position...again let me show you our oline makeup by NATURAL position from left to right

This is utter incompentence and its absolutely ridiculous that we have one first round pick cut and the other (who let me remind you was projected as high as top 10) seemly REGRESSING.

Now you could look to his regression due to injury OR maybe he came in with all this confidence and coaching from Wisconsin and Tice forced his "genius" on him, made him uncomfortable, got him out of his game, and therefore he is about half as effective as he was as a rookie. Regression with a clearly talented guy after one year? THAT is inexcusable.
To me the more logical move for Tice would have been to give attention to the positions that were in the WORST shape. Prioritize & improve the positions that MOST needed help IMMEDIATELY. He had a couple of positions that were good enough to get by for another year - and maybe would have been better with those players remaining in their position for a 2nd season. Then be honest, and let the GM help you out at 1 or 2 positions in FA. Instead all we heard about was how the oline was fine going into 2012. Then he kept bragging about this special "Hester Package" that was going to be so great.

I honestly can't figure out WHAT the heck he was aiming at. It just looked pure crazy to me. And the end result was a mess. Again.
