Nah... He's fine. He used to do it faster, but Tice coached him up a little and showed him how to do it a little different.

What's the cub's fans expression? There's next year....let's hope Cutler/Forte/OC(whoever it is) can get this thing moving better.
Forte has looked worse this year, but I think that's due to the offensive line woes. I don't see us signing anyone off the street now, at this late date, that will look decent running behind our offensive line. Maybe I'm wrong though.
    Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

Forte has been worse. Look at his yards after contact. He seems to go down a lot sooner.

Bush was the guy that always filled in for McFaddon whenever he got hurt and was never hurt himself.

Forte has looked gimped all season.

Maybe we should sign Bell to a 50 year contract since he's on the team so often.

ya but he was never a great figher around the LoS anyways, he'd fight in the open w/1 or two guys, but he's more of a I want to make you miss then I want to drag you w/me guy.

In GB their RBs are largely interchangeable. They run a pretty simple approach to it and use it mainly to take pressure off and set up their passing game. They've done it that way for years and they've gone through as many RBs as we have OGs.

They don't depend on their RBs to win games for them only to not lose them by fumbling. If you can average 3.5 ypc and not fumble the ball you can be a RB for the GB Packers.

And really I'm just saying Bell isn't special; and kinda sucks, considering the GB guy was gotten off the street.
Oh I love this one too Ric. First you try to tell me that I don't know as much about Bates coaching in Denver as you do and here you propose to tell a former NFL RB what his position entails.

Some days you really are too much.

No one said Bell was special just that he was a more logical pickup than someone who had no knowledge of the offense. RB is more than just taking a hand off and finding a place to run with it even if you believe differently.

Forte is one of those guys whose become frustrated with the offense and the way it's been played. Watch his last post game interview. He's simply mouthing words that every players does when he doesn't want to be quoted as saying anything negative.

If you want to know what going on in his head watch his facial expressions and the way he chooses his words very carefully. He doesn't believe a word of what he's saying but he's not gonna be the one to rock the boat. Lovie doesn't like that and that's how you end up in his doghouse.

If you want truth then ask Brandon Marshall. He hasn't been around long enough to know about the Lovie Smith "silence is golden rule" so he has the balls to tell it like it is.
