No, but it does warrant hesitation before giving him a big extension

If they do give him an extension, they should give him a 1-year deal and that's it. He hasn't been playing like he deserves a big-time deal lately.

He has one year left on his contract.

Are you guys crazy??? Cutler doesn't have much leverage in negotiaions, already offered a discount in re-negotiations (along with Marshall), and since we are gonna have him next year, regardless, if we add 2-3 decent linemen and shoot to get Cook and Keller to get us a legit two TE offense, he'll fuggin improve enough, as teams are gonna have to cover more than BMarsh and occasionally Jeffrey. Plus, with two legit te options, passing lanes to Forte are gonna get even better. Let's just hope our next oc can teach cutty to stop "unleashing the dragon" as often as he does. The days of "Brett Farve gunslinger wannabe" clones are out the friggin door.

I learned that Peanut should be a lock for all-pro
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

I learned that : Wells and Lindley gave us the game .
- Forte's ankles are soft and maybe screwed
- I'm running out of patience w Cutler
- whoever is assisting Lovie with deciding when to throw a challenge flag , is still a complete moron
- Davis can't even block on a field goal ( wow )
- Hester should be benched
- next weeks game is not a gimme
- being a Cards fan must be demoralizing

I don't remember seeing Hester lined up as a receiver... did anyone else notice that?
I saw a couple of WR sets that were Marsh, Jeffery, Bennett.. did anyone notice any other 3 WR sets with any other WRs? (Could it be that Tice has realized who the 3 best WRs are?)
If Jay spreads the ball around to more receivers, the offense does better (I believe I'm thinking of the drive that ended with a TD throw to a wide open Marsh.)
I saw a Cards fan wearing a bag over is head asking for a "real" offense, I wanted to ask the guy if he had a spare one for me....
While I am glad the Bears won, I saw very little today that makes me confident that we can beat the Lions next week.
I'm still rooting for the Bears though..
"Professional Armchair Quarterback" and other oxymora.....

Would you rather be Arizona or have Cutler? Nuff said!
Allen can make people miss and should get more carries as a change up back.
Bell did what he was supposed to. Made the inside runs running N/S with a little power and lean, got some yardage when they knew we'd be running and didn't cough up the ball. Jeezus the only reason he was even playing was because Bush was on IR. He won't be here next year anyway. Bush will be back.
And yes, any offense that can't do better than 14 points per game on average over seven or eight games needs a lot of of work......a LOT of work.

I'll take Cutler. Hell I may even offer my services to the Deadnials to become the 4th string QB.

Just think Forte, Bush and Allen. Pretty good running attack. IF we can a REAL OC it is going to give him a lot of options.

Agreed.
Also I do think Tillman should get All-Pro.

We can get this same type of play out of Orton or Grossman if we wanted it. At one time Jay was 2-12 which is unacceptable when playing a team like the Cardinals. (Well you're gonna be really disappointed then because unless Santa leaves a hot young QB prospect in Phil Emery's Christmas Stocking he ain't goin' anywhere. You tend to to go 2-12 when only one guy on the team can catch a football and even he had a few drops that were balls he should have caught. The best the entire offense looked was the drive right before halftime when they just went out and played ball and Cutler delivered strikes and everyone hung on to the f'n ball. He can't throw 'em and catch 'em himself. They still haven't figured out how to let him play his game.)
Lovie sure likes to challenge plays he can't win, either his coaches suck at communicating with lovie or he is just stubborn on making the right decision. (Right the second time but then we both knew that didn't we?)
Defense played great and they gave the offense plenty of help today. (True and if not we might not have won this one either. The offense still only put up 14 points)
I would love to have Fritzgerald on our team. (I'd love to have him too but the contract he signed makes it certain he'll be one of the most well paid yet under appreciated WRs in the NFL.)
What we learned today is what we've seen all season long. We have no offense and if the defense doesn't score of set up a score we lose games. There were so many bonehead plays in that game that if had been anyone else but AZ. we would have lost.
Having a chip shot FG missed and returned for a TD at the very end was the icing on the cake for me. We pussied around running the ball without even bothering to take a shot at the end zone to avoid a turnover and get a sure 3 points and then Davis lets his guy come in unblocked and they score a cheap TD.
It meant nothing as far as the outcome of the game goes but it was huge in terms of analyzing just how badly certain guys on this team have fucked up all year and cost us ball games. How you justify benching others and still letting that ass clown on the field is beyond me.
I'm sick of seeing lousy execution and poor effort. On half the running plays I watched Brown blocked no one and on the other half Spencer blocked no one. Basically we were running behind a four man line and more like three and a half because Garza couldn't seem to take out the MLB to save his soul. The guy was all over the field.
This is the first game I've watched in a month and all I saw as the same old crap from the same players. About half that starting eleven on offense needs to be turned over before next year and we need to start playing guys who put out effort to do there jobs and win games instead of just collecting a paycheck each week.
It was just one more sad ass offensive effort and Cutler wasn't the reason for it.
