what we learned
The Bum slayers still live; and no the Bears do not have the worst O in the NFL, it's at least 2nd to worst. As of now Minny didn't help us, but it looks like NY might. Either way we will be one and done if we have to face GB or SF.
Chicago O: per usual if the D gets a score, or sets up an easy score the O for some reason plays better, and that's what happened today. Cutlers throws were all over the field today, but it didn't hurt the team. Forte and Davis and Jeffery all stepped up big, Marshal was Marshal. I liked what I saw all pre season from Allen, and I'm glad he's getting his chance to shine, when Forte went out he stepped in and looked solid. Only Bell didn't have a great game, no suprise there btw. the OL actually opened holes and protected the QB both in the same game. I'm honestly shocked. Don't be fooled by this win though, the team was unable to score 20+ points on O, and the 3rd int gave them a great oppertunity to do so.
CHicago D: played a no talent set of bums and an horrid organization and beat them sensless. 3 turn overs, 2 td's and tons of pressures/sacks. This Arizona team is a hot mess.
Chicago Coaches: asked for other players to step up and they did. Forte had some huge runs/Davis stepped up and caught both passes I saw thrown his way. Jeffery had a good game also. THey had a good gameplan and executed it. Per usual they succeed vs lesser coaches.
Ariz O: oi, there is an old saying that if you have 2 qb's you don't have 1; well there is an inverse to that if you don't have 1 starting qb you don't have 1. Bennie no talent Wells didn't hlpe them either. You have 1 threat at WR and no threats at qb or RB. that makes it hard to ever win.
Ariz D: gave up big plays but really held the Bears to 14 points again so its not like they had a horrid game. BUt the O did them no favors handing 14 points to the Bears and never giving them a rest w/long drives
Ariz coaches: you suck...badly, you should quit tomorrow just to save face.

What I learned.
-Arizona needs a QB BAD!
-Poor Larry Fitzgerald.
-Cutler was erratic today
-Offense needs A LOT of work.
-I'd keep Allen as my 3rd string RB next year and dump Bell.

What I learned:
-Cardinals suck.
-Offense still couldn't get anything going, even against these guys.
-Defense looked like their old selves, if only for 1 game.
-We should be thankful there are teams that are doing much worse than us, otherwise we'd be the biggest joke of the league.

Learned nothing new, except Hester can't do anything well now. Ho-Hum, we crush bottom-feeders. Objectively, how could that performance help Lovie's case at all?

Jay needs to go, the bears need to trade his ass to someone outside the division because I am tired of the excuses he gets when he plays like shit. We can get this same type of play out of Orton or Grossman if we wanted it. At one time Jay was 2-12 which is unacceptable when playing a team like the Cardinals.
Lovie sure likes to challenge plays he can't win, either his coaches suck at communicating with lovie or he is just stubborn on making the right decision.
Defense played great and they gave the offense plenty of help today.
I would love to have Fritzgerald on our team

We learned that Bears can still beat the tomato cans
We learned that we need the Bears defense to score if we want to win
We learned that Jay had many issues as 4th pointed out.

Cutler did have an unusually off day today. Cannot pin it on the OL or the WR's either, they all had a decent to above average day.
Still don't want to see him go/traded; not sure I would extend him this year either, but don't want to get rid of him.

O still sucks, might actually start with jay, holds the ball forever. He played terrible. He also looks to marshal to much.

1. The offense looks pretty bad. Cutler shares some of the blame.
2. We have a chance when our defense scores for us, and gets turnovers. But when they can't do this we lose.
Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis
I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

Cutler had a crappy performance today, but this does not warrant him getting traded/leaving town, IMO, though I wonder how long can he go like this before he becomes another Alex Smith?
