    I am saddened that the bears need the vikings to lose to GB in order to have a chance (a win over the lions is not guaranteed) to get into the playoffs. I had harbored a fantasy that had the pack stayed in the 3 or 4 seat, the bears may have been able to play them in the wildcard round. Where, in true "any given sunday" fashion, the bears get a miracle win, eliminating the packers from the playoffs... sadly, this can not happen now... (sigh) It's nice to dream....

    The Vikings are playing well enough right now that they could win anyway. They dominated the Texans 23-6, one of the best teams in the NFL.

    The Vikes and Seahawks are both playing great ball right now.
