Will Bears' trash talk backfire?
Melton and Wright were stupid. Why fire these guys up for this game? Pure stupid.

I believe that the Patriots are taught not to talk trash on opposing teams. We should learn from them.

It wil "fire them up" for maybe a quarter. Or until the Bears hang a TD on them. Then they will shrivel up like a man coming out of a very cold pool.

Smart teams (well coached teams) say nothing negative, but show up and rip your heart out.
The Bears on the other hand, get this team fired up over a meaningless game (to them) and they will come out fired up like it's a playoff game.
Think it's smart to get Suh fired up another few notches? No. I didn't think so.

Trashing their team and their QB will fire Suh up to the max. Look for Cutler to be abused, and maybe injured. Suh is a certifiable lunatic anyway.
Stupid move by the Bears. Why fire the Lions up? Cutler will have a big target on him all game long. Suh will be doing a dick dance on him every chance he gets.
These are the little things that separate a well-coached and disciplined team from the wannabee's. Wannabee's shoot their mouth off. Great teams quietly take care of business.

all I know is from listening to the score yesterday melton called the lions cheap and dirty.....well they are cheap and dirty lol
i dont consider that trash talking anyways. Trash talking was what tommie harris used to always do and not bother showing up to the games lmfao

If i weren't drunk, i'd use tge french versiob of "au contraire" and remind you that, although they lost, the 2007 patriots' Tom Brady scoffed at the idea of the patriots being held to something like 17 or 20 pts in the leadup to the sb. Also, wasn't it thw 85 bears that recorded a song declaring their sb victory inevitabilaty after losing a mnf game?, point being: trash talk doesn't matter at all, unless you were the redskins team that got beat 73-0

this is out of character for a Lovie Smith team. They meet trash talk. This had to have been a game plan from someone besides Smith.
