The positive here is that we have a solid base of players to build around. We're not a 4-12 team, but rather a 10-6 team that has the framework to build around. Emery is the man to do this. We will be better in 2013.
1. Get a HC who has a clue.
2. Fix the oline, add a TE who can catch a football, replace Hester at WR with a guy who can actually catch a football and run routes.
3. Begin the task of replacing aging players on defense (2 years to do this).
I'm not trying to minimize the task ahead, but it's important we don't lose hope here. We really are a good team. We need another off season or two, to be a GREAT team. We are not Detroit. We're going to be OK.
p.s. I agree with 4th & 26. I blame Jerry Angelo for most of our present mess. He should have fixed the oline years ago.
