Thats it, throw in the towel. 2-14 here we come.
Cutler all but said he's happy with the decision. You know he's frustrated. Mostly because he cares.

With Hester, maybe he's sad to see him go, because on any other team he'd be a return man only?

For me Hester doesn't need to be a Bear. He claims he lost his passion for football two years ago? Maybe thats why we haven't seen a return.....

Hester better grow the hell up, otherwise no team will want him.

I still don't get why he lost his passion for the game two years ago when he was playing for the best coach he has ever played for. It's an oxymoron from a moron...

With that, we will stil need to pick up a O linemen in the Draft and use most of the rest of the draft to help the Defense. Lossing Lovie will only make the move to Offense a little easier and give Emery more control over the team.
This is how I see it. We're not the typical rebuilding project. I can't remember a team this good, firing its coach. I'm sure it's happened, but usually it's a team with a losing season, and often multiple losing seasons. We have a top-5 defense (according to NFL.com) and we have Cutler, B.Marsh, Alshon, Forte on offense - we're actually an ideal situation for a top coach to step into.
    Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

We could very well be in a major rebuilding phase. IF the Bears go from a 4-3 to a 3-4

Giving Lovie all the power over the team is one of the reasons he is no longer the HC.

The only way I see the defense performing well is if Emery signs someone to coach like Bill Cowher. The only way I see Cowher coming to Chicago is if he is given the title of like "Vice President of Football Operations" in order to give him greater say in who is drafted and how the organization is run. Basically, I think signing Cowher will require him being placed in a position of authority that is similar to what Emery enjoys at the present. If I'm George McCaskey, I'd make damn good and sure that whoever is signed, whether it be Cowher, Andy Reid, or someone who has never had a head coaching position before, gets whatever powers they need vested within them so that they can have enough say in the direction this franchise goes.
