I'm sorry but with cutler and Marshall healthy were an 8-8 team with just them

6-10 is normal when your team is in rebuilding mode and starts from scratch.

Honestly I don't see us worse than 8-8

We have a ton of talent and pending on who comes in I'm hopeful they can tap into it

I have to agree. I think there is enough talent on the defense without Urlacher (better with him) to be a top 15 defense. If we can get a competent offensive line we will have a top 15 offense and the better the line the better ranked the offense will be.

IMO, if that happens, we have picked the wrong HC. While a new HC means a new system, it does not mean HAVING to take a step back. This team has plenty of talent. This team also has plenty of dead weight and pley of underacheivers. The HC has to be able to sort it out, and play to the teams strengths. Other good HC's have come in and the teams have taken off immediately. I would have no less expectation under the right HC. We have a lot to build on. We need someone who KNOWS where the holes are, how to fix them and how to get the most out of his players. The new HC may not be as well liked as LOvie, but the respect will be there if he is a winner.

Losing seasons don't bother me...heartless, passionless, phoned in, winning seasons while still missing the playoffs bother the piss out of me...

Not having to look at Lovie and his "Lovie In The Headlights" look on the sideline will be a improvement for me !

I would think a HC could build on what is here and at least break .500 while installing his own system and philosophy. Plus one year of good draft picks. :lol-027:
