J'Marcus and the boys are real sorry they got Lovie fired...but they sure hope the new coach continues the tradition of crappy olines.
Wow there's actually an article written on this . I thought this was a joke thread . Proof that someone's still telling old Uncle Larry what articles to write . Somebody's gotta turn this PR handjob machine off at Halas Hall .
I still feel we have some good Players on the O line but the bad out weigh them by way too much. It will that a real OC or O linemen coach to tell who needs to stay and who needs to go.
Over the holidays Larry Mayer just dusts off old articles and prints 'em all over again. I don't think he even realizes Lovie is gone. He'll still trot out the ones: "there's a lot of football left to play, and Lovie likes our chances, and the sun will still come up in the morning, and Rex is our quarterback. :lol-032:
I've been thinking about this. If we can't get anything for Hester in a trade, we should do a "package deal" and trade Hester AND Larry Mayer to another team. Larry can probably run better routes and catch better than Hester - but Hester can probably write better stuff than Larry.
I know. I actually feel sorry for the guy having to go through the motions of not offending the powers that be.

Great picture. He's like, "Yeah, you know I know the deal." The guy cracks me up sometimes, because you know he's got to be laughing to himself when he's writing his articles sometimes! Anyway, I don't read his column much, but do like it when he brings in Bear's history. Don't know if he's ever written a book, but I hope he does when he retires.
