If I have to pick I'll go with Pete Carmichael Jr been a OC longer then the rest. Mike Sullivan wouldn't be bad pick. The other two have two of the top QBs in the NFL you don't have to be a great OC to look good with them.

Wouldn't this be the same for Carmichael? Brees certainly isn't a slouch.

I'm not saying your right or wrong JJ, but I did see today, where Clements was the OC at Buffalo for a few years, but the coaching staff was swept out to make room for Dick Jauron's new coaching staff (when they hired Jauron as their new HC).

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

Wish thinking: Rod DC, Toub ST, Clements OC, McCoy HC.
If you make Tebow look "good" then you can pretty much get any QB to look good.

Sullivan 100% After taking Eli and him having the best career numbers under him to leaving and picking up Muscle Hamster and helping Freeman to a bounce back year that guy is proven. I like McCoy but Manning is the true OC in Denver and he will reap the benefits of that and dont bring up the tebow mania stuff. He won on luck and JC haha.

Will if Dick didn't want him and we all know what a great HC he is, then Clements should be close to the top of our list.

Bruce Arians. Bears have requested permission to interview Colts OC Bruce Arians.
other than him I'd take McCoy.

This was in the "Mailbag" thread today. This snippet on McCoy was very interesting, in fact I loved McCoy's philosophy here. There was FAR too little of this under Lovie's tenure here:
What's your input on Mike McCoy as the head coach and what will the change in command do for the defense and special teams coaching? -- Chuck Durante, Guiling, China I think McCoy is an outstanding candidate. He has been prepared by a fine head coach in John Fox. He understands offensive football and how to put players in position to succeed. He is young but can command a room.
And McCoy is a flexible strategist. We had a talk about his philosophies awhile back. He told me, "I learned from Dan Henning a long time ago that if the quarterback doesn't like something, or he can't do it, you eliminate that from the game plan. Same with the running game.
If there are schemes up front that our offensive line runs better, why try to force feed something else? I always say I don't care what we want to do, but what can our players do well? That's where it all starts."
Whoever is hired as head coach will be able to hire his own defensive coordinator and special teams coach. New head coaches usually bring in their own people for key positions.
