ESPN poll rankings for the Chicago Bears HC job.

Not sure if I'm a believer in the Bruce Arians hype. He was coaching with an adaptation of another guy's system and the team as a whole has been playing above their ability with the whole "Chuck Strong" movement in Indy.

I agree with McCoy and Clements at the top of the potential HC list.

Not really aboard the whole Arians love-fest. Wouldn't be devastated if we got him but I knew a lot of Steelers fans who hated him when he was there and that he refused to use the full-back in the run game even though it was working. Lots of other complaints. Could have just been them, but it was enough that I wouldn't put him #1.

My top two are Clements and McCoy.

Is there anyone that understands that Indy was expected to win 1 or 2 games? Then lost their head coach? Ya it's easy to say they rode a wave of energy b/c of that, but BA had to keep that energy high, and keep it from making everyone give up on what was supposed to be a bad season. That was a .500 club going into week 8, and lost 2 games after that. That's pretty impressive.

Just look at the mess losing their coach cost the Saints, and they were aware all offseason about that, AND are a much more talented team.

If you look at his resume, it's impressive. He's not one of these guys who's simply had 1 good year at OC. He's had a broad foundation of experience with some of the greatest players ever to play in the NFL. He's been with elite franchises too.

I'm not saying he's "The Guy' but surely he's a top-3 candidate for us.

The guy helped Payton manning become Payton Manning(first 2 years in Indy was when BA was there), he helped make Big Ben become Big Ben, you can see a uptick in his #'s when BA gets there. Lets assume that Payton was going to be Payton regardless, but Big Ben was really viewed as a game manager early on b/c if he threw more then 30 passes chances were Pitt lost. IF BA can do that for Big Ben, I have no doubt he'd help w/Cutler.

He's my 1a pick behind McCoy. I think he'd be a very good selection.
