KC signs Andy Reid and Fires Pioli there GM
And we thought that Emery had a bad deal having to keep Lovie or at least not picking his own HC. Well at least Lovie only had one year on his deal, not sure how many years Reid deal is for but I bet its more then a year.

Andy understands that this is KC he's going to and not KFC, right?

KC is actually built better than you think... they have a really solid defense... with not much if any age on it at all..
they got a solid or even good offensive line.. a good talented RB.. a good talented WR if they keep him
they are really only a QB away.. some depth here and there, maybe especially at WR, but they can be competetive with a good QB

I agree with that. It was a joke about Andy Reid more than anything. They have a good young core, just need a guy who can deliver the ball.

Odd that you hire the HC then fire the GM.....bassawkards team that will find a way to screw all this up. There went Cassle's job though, only one person wanted him as the QB, and that was the GM.

are they giving reid gm duties also?

With their current talent, first pick in the draft and solid fan base....I'd put this as the second best coaching vacancy destination after the Bears. Congratulations to Andy Reid.

The "Big Name" guys will get GM power, even if there is a token GM left with a title. The unlimited power will rest with the coach.
I think that is very risky. Historically, a lot of great coaches go down in flames when they try to take over unlimited powers like this. The GM and HC need to work closely together, and work for a common goal, with a common vision - but ultimately, if you have a competent GM, there needs to be a healthy separation of power.
Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis
I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

They are gonna need a lot more then a QB, Bowe will almost be a for sure gone seeing how he was franchised already. Mixed feelings here, I think he would have been more set in Arizona then KC
