New hc personnel?
So can you guys discuss the what I believe the top three candidates Arians Sullivan and mccoy's personnel would be especially the their OC's? Also do you think marinelli would stay with the majority of these guys? Also do you think tice has a shot in hell at staying with any of them?

Don't know if that even possible to guess yet. I would guess that Toub/Rod/Toub are your best bets as who sticks. If Rivera is fired I wouldn't mind if he was willing to come back to Chicago to get this D back in order. He's far more creative and agressive, and I think that 2005/6 D was more impressive overall then anything we've seen since. He's also shown an abiltiy to merge the 4-3 and 3-4, so if the HC/Emery ARE looking to make that move in the future he's a better canidate.
As for the rest, we need to know who's fired, and what assistants/coordiantors the HC would be allowed to talk to, a lot of that would have to wait until after the SB I would assume.

Totally with you as far as Rivera goes. I'd love to see his D back in Chicago. Didn't see much love for him on another thread, and this choice is going to be completely up to the new HC. And of course Rivera himself. As you mention, he is still employed right now. Not sure if he could get another HC gig if he was fired, but I bet there would be lots of interest as a DC.
He may not get fired this year. Too many HC openings for owners to try and fill. Their ownership might want to wait and see if there is less competition for HC's next year. Who knows....

Never mind. Just confirmed Rivera is staying as HC through 2013 anyway.

Sucks for us, but good for him.
I could see Rod staying around then.

If we bring in an offensive-minded HC then it's possible we retain some coaches on the defensive side. I could see Marinelli, Hoke, and Toub retained, but will not be surprised if it's a clean sweep. Depends on the new HC, of course, and how much effort he wants to put into the D, because the O will take some work. Regarding Marinelli, kind of hard to argure 4 pro-bowlers, and Hoke has a pretty good case as well with both of his CB's selected.

Yeah, for me anyway
1) Rivera
2) Marinelli
Other than them, I really don't like too many others
