The Bears signed TE Brody Eldridge to a reserve/future contract on Wednesday, the team announced.
Eldridge spent time with Chicago earlier this season but did not play in a game. Last season, he played in 13 games with eight starts for the Colts.
In 2010, as a rookie, Eldridge started 8-of-14 games. He has 14 career catches for 84 yards.

They do realize that there are football players they can sign that have not played for the Bears before?

Don't worry...this is the year that Devin Hester is gonna become a real pass receiving weapon...I mean it....I know you've heard that before but this time it is really real.....seriously....I mean it...trust me......you'll see...

Well, at least he's a powerful TE who really can block.

I think the reason so many head coach candidates are being interviewed for the head coach job, is due to the fact they MUST devise a way to finally implement "The Hester Package"
I think Emery will hire the one who can actually build the most impressive HP. My gut feeling is that none of 'em are up to the task, and only a Belechik could pull THIS one off. No mere mortal OC can do it.

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.
