My first thought aswell. I wont jugde Carimi if he is a bust or not I consider this as his rookie year.
I'd for Jones first prio still.

Btw, Fluker is generally considered to be the weakest of the "big 3" Alabama OLs between Warmack, Jones, and him...and he will still probably be a 1st round pick. That ought to say something.
Maybe we can get a package deal for all of 'em

Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis
I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

a great T, what's the chances of him being there at 20?

It's pretty iffy, but you never know how it will play out. It does add one more solid OL player for the draft this year, which could be good for us, even if we don't get him.
Most years it's possible to get real solid, starter quality interior OL in the 2nd round. Including centers. I'm thinking we're going to have to go to FA for a LT. Then double-down in the draft for 2 high quality interior linemen (either 1st and 2nd round, or at least a guy in either the 1st and 2nd, and then come back in the 4th round). Maybe Emery can add 1 more FA into the mix, in addition to a LT......even if it's an average talent with the 2nd guy in FA. The first guy (the LT) needs to be the best we can afford. The second guy can be a lessor talent.
Then in training camp, we need "the best of the rest" of the OL players to be solid enough to fill in what's left on the depth chart for 2013.

good, that's really good news.
We don't need Fluker, but this will push down Jones and Cooper and maybe even Warmack.

Exactly. Now we just need a few teams to over-draft Eifert and get desperate for marginal QBs to help us out even more

I am willing to give Carimi one more year but I'd still take Jones in a heart beat.

I'm pretty sure that Geno Smith won't be the only QB in the Top20. Think that 2-3 teams get desperate and reach big time. Same goes for CBs. Not the deepest class upfront but teams desperate may reach to get them.
I really hope that Pass Rush will be the name of the game and teams will focus more on this than the OLine with many Guards and Centers being good thinking they can get them later in the draft.

Yep, QBs always get over drafted in the 1st (Brandon Weeden?) by teams desperate for a #1. And thankfully we don't need CB or pash rush help up high this year either. We may be able to trade down a bit and snag that extra pick.

I wouldn't be stunned if one of the QB desperate try to trade down so they don't reach nearly as far.
