reports are Chiefs want to trade down. I'd offer them our 1st & 2nd this year and take Joeckel 1st overall

Not great news that an RT declared. Great news would have been Matthews and Lewan declaring instead of returning to campus. Those two not entering is a HUGE blow to the LT class.

Yeah you would but they won't. They'd think you were completely insane. That number one overall would cost one hell of a lot more than that.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Yep, just another big kid who knows how to run block at that level but may struggle with his pass blocking. Didn't we just draft a guy just like that? ![4 13 13[1]](/images/smilies/Smilie/4_13_13[1].gif)
Jeezus an underclassman RT declares for the draft and some of you guys get an erection over him. We have guys just like him. In fact the oaf we have playing LT now is just like Fluker.
Yeah maybe he pushes somebody down and maybe not but he's not anyone we need.

No kidding. But what a crappy break for KC to have the #1 pick in a year when the QB class is this weak. Last year--Luck and RG3, this year--nothing. Maybe they will take Joeckel and let Albert walk....to us.

I think there's a good chance that may be exactly what happens since Joeckel will come a lot cheaper than Albert will and he has far more potential. KC also tends to draft lineman high in the draft too.
Actually Albert would probably be a good FA prospect for us. He should be far more affordable than Clady or Long and Emery can't afford a bidding war for a LT anymore than he could for DE last year.

The point differential is so great between #1 and #20 that we'd end up trading our second and a 2014 first just to get close. It's just not practical to do it brother and if you did then it would almost have to be for a sure fire franchise QB like Luck not an OT no matter how good he might be.
