    Good Bye Green Bay...............

    All I can say is it's probably a good thing we didn't make the playoffs. SF would have handed us our asses on national TV again. GB can't stop them. They have over 300 yards rushing alone and Kaepernick has close to 200 yards himself.

    SF defense has contained Rodgers reasonably well. As for GB, I don't care how good your O is, you can't give up 600 yards and hope to win.

    We saw it in the BCS title game and now we are seeing it on an NFL level...a dominant OL wears down a defense and makes your QB and RBs look all the better.

    The problem is that this is nothing new, the Cowboys in the 90's were dominant with a great offensive line. I just do not understand how NFL GM's fail to comprehend this.

    I don't think they do but the supply of really good college lineman has been shrinking. How many really good LTs are there in the NFL? Half the teams don't have one who's much better than Webb. In any given draft there are usually only one or two decent LT prospects the rest rate as RTs in the pros.

    Basically you have to be shrewd as far as finding potential in the middle rounds and then have an outstanding coach to develop them and a scheme they can block well. Tice may be a good line coach as far as the basics go but he missed the boat elsewhere. He doesn't have guys who fit the profile needed for his schemes and he spends far too much time trying to remake them in the image he sees for them.

    Well that era is over and now it's time to move on. He needs a line like Washington had with the Hogs or one like SF has. The Bears guys are far better suited for a finesse style zone scheme because they have athletic ability and they're big enough to be more effective at it than smaller lines but to use it you have to teach it and he didn't

    If by chance Emery hires Dennison or McCoy you'll see an entirely different blocking scheme and one that will be far more effective for both the line and for Forte and Cutler. The Broncos run that scheme and have for year and they did it pretty effectively today against one of the best run defenses in the NFL.

    Just goes to show what DRAFTING an OL can do ... if you have the right people to draft that OL.

    Pack looked as hapless against Kaepernick as Oklahoma did against Manziel last week.
    Haven't seen a pro defense get crapped-on by a QB like that in my life.
    Harbaugh's looking like a genius right now, besides the Seahawks, I don't think there's a defense left that's going to slow these guys down.

    Suggest that JCut do ALOT of wind sprints in the off season.

    I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the thrashing the Frack took today . Every big play was a joy to watch . Every shot of a down-trodden Frackers sideline was an even bigger joy :-}
