I wonder who Mike Florio's source was, then? That's interesting now that you mention that. I really don't want Arians to get the job simply because I think he's too old to take the reins of the Bears. Give me Dennison or McCoy, but not Arians.

What I don't get is the fact(?) that the Bears are going to interview 2 people this coming week for second interviews. I guess I do it different. I don't do final interviews until, well I've interviewed everyone and I know who is final...
This is interesting to see play out. The net keeps getting bigger and yet there are final interviews supposedly scheduled. I'm not moving away from the phone next week. He's obviously just starting to go through the white pages.
Report: Bears seek permission to interview Bevell
Posted by Mike Florio on January 6, 2013, 10:21 PM EST
http://nbcprofootballtalk.files.word...vell.jpg?w=242APDarrell Bevell could be returning to the NFC North.
The second-year coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks, who previously spent five years with the Vikings and six with the Packers, has landed on the Bears’ radar screen.
According to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bears have requested permission to interview Bevell. Under league rules, assistant coaches employed by teams that won in the wild-card round can be interviewed this week, but only if their current employer agrees to it. Per Jensen, permission is expected to be granted.
Bevell can thank rookie quarterback Russell Wilson for this development. Not even Bevell’s work with Brett Favre helped nudge Bevell toward one of the 32 most coveted jobs in all of football.
BREAKING NEWS : RECOVERS FROM FLU ... HAS SET BACK WITH CONSTIPATION !!
ESPN has the latest news.
If we sign him as a HC now and he has constipation ...
we could be looking at giving up our 2nd round pick.

I was at the gym 1-2 months ago, doing the calf machine - the one where you're standing with the pads on top of your shoulders. When I squatted low to step on to the machine, I pulled a "duck quack"...two cute blondes next to me. I didn't want to leave abruptly, because I wanted to play it cool. But as soon as my set was over, I bolted for the locker room, then left for my car like I stole something.
True story.
I do agree there are too many threads on topic of HC
Denver Post reports that McCoy never had an interview with the Bills. It was planned but never took place.
He interviewed with the Cards saturday and Bears, Eagles on Sunday. Only team to get 4 hours was the Bears, other teams got 3 hours.
the reporter says that McCoys best chance is with the Bears and we are in no rush to announce who the HC will be.
Take it for what it's worth and it sounded like we strongly consider him.
