    I may be in the minority here and I know I risk being laughed off the board, but if Marinelli isn't retained, Mike would be a good option for DC. Just my opinion. I assume his interview is either for that reason or simply out of respect for a Bears Icon that happens to be available. I do NOT believe he is a serious candidate for HC in Emery's mind.

    Also, regardless of your feelings about it, this will comply with the Rooney Rule.

    I agree with you. I think Singletary is great for any defense, inn any capacity.

    He's just not offensive minded. That was his problem in SF.
