If they lose, it will be easier for sure.
Think at the end of next week we know who will be the next HC.
Due to NFL rules, McCoy can't conduct a second interview until the Broncos are either knocked out of the playoffs or make the Super Bowl.

McCoy wouldn't be the first coordinator to miss out on a head coaching job because his team went that far in the playoffs. I don't think Emery will wait that long.

Does the same apply for Dennsion?

I think as well he realizes that he just fired a coach that had 19 wins in the last 2 years, he's going to make sure the guy is the best guy, not a media frenzy inspired quick hire

Yep. They've hall had interviews, can't have a second one unless you're out of the playoffs or win the conference. Sad but true.

You gotta love the guy. Whoever he finally settles on, nobody can say that Emery didn't do due diligence, cast a wide net, and work his ass off in the process. I know there is no way every personnel move and draft pick can be a "hit" for any GM, but damn I have a lot of confidence in him.
We finally have a GM who looks championship caliber and hopefully we will have a new HC along those lines soon too.

After reading what you guys wrote, i'm thinking there may not be a second interview, the second round may be a more in depth review of the potential HC. I'm still holding out hope that Dennison gets the job.
