Guess McCoy is out if this is accurate. Of the 4 or 5 mentioned as potential finalists, I like Dennison the best. But whoever it is, I trust that Phil knows what he's dong.

Honestly, I don't know how I feel about this guy as HC. I'd like him as OC but correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't he only have 2 years as an OC and all other NFL experience as qb coach

I trust emery and what I DO like about this guy is some of theese unknowns really are home runs

Don't be surprised if Marc Trestman is the last man standing in the Bears' coaching search. via vaughn mcclure

Schefter's "hunch" for Bears final two candidates as said on ESPN1000 are Trestman and Dennison.

seankjensen: Only Phil Emery knows who he has "synergy" with. But my gut feeling is Arians, Trestman and dark horse like Sullivan or Carmichael in mix

    Ian Rapoport‏@RapSheet
For #Bears people curious about Marc Trestman. I'm told he has NOT been eliminated from their search. A finalist, perhaps?
I wouldn't complain however Emery goes, but I like Dennison if this short-list is accurate.

Everything I have heard about him, he is the offensive clone of Lovie Smith. Will not blow up on the side lines, doesn't really like the media..... smart with offense but tends to be hands off on defense.

What I like about him (and every candidate has pros and cons) is A) he has history with Cutler and Jay has spoken highly of him, B) he has experience optimizing QBs, C) he probably wouldn't blow up the D or replace Marinelli, and D) he is known as an OL wizard.

It hard to argue with what he's accomplished with Wilson and the Seattle O, but I didn't see him as a finalist. I trust Phil.

Your three finalists for Chicago Bears Head Coach are...

Phil Emery and the Chicago Bears have named their finalists

Per David Haugh: According to one candidate who didn't get Bears job, he was told Emery will bring in 2 finalists to Halas Hall beginning tomorrow.

Adam Schefter ‏ then reported the Bears will meet again with Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell and Montreal HC Marc Trestman, first 2 candidates to be identified as Bears finalists.

The Sean Jenson reported that Bruce Arians was also a finalist.

Rapaport stated that Trestman was at Halas Hall all day today, Bevell will be tomorrow and Arians likely on Wednesday.

Should be noted that Vaughn McClure is saying that he is being told that Trestman is the heavy favorite for the job.
